20 Jan Customer Information: New Rice Drinking Straw Supplier

Dear FiaFia customers,

Since 2020, we have been supplying you with the environmentally friendly rice drinking straws from the
Rice-Straws brand.

The supplier NLYTECH (Malaysia) was unable to expand this business as hoped, resulting in high investment debts. The business was then taken over by Origo Eco, but as early as 2024, this company decided to discontinue Rice-Straws production and laid off its employees. Fortunately, we were able to secure a prepaid delivery in time and thus ensure a continuous supply to our loyal customers in 2025.

At the beginning of 2025, we found an alternative supplier from Malaysia and tested their products with positive results. We are confident that we can offer at least equivalent rice drinking straws with ADA-Straws.

We will receive the first sea freight shipment in the next few days. ADA Biotech has a smaller product segment;

They focus on the colors natural, black, light green, and coffee brown.

In 2026, we can still offer most of the colors from our Rice Straw stock,
while the new ADA Straws will be available for sale in natural long and black, small drinking straws.

The 2026 price list shows the available items and prices.

We would be happy to provide you with samples of the new drinking straws in special sample packs.
